My 2011 resolutions:
1. To write and get publish at least 2 journal papers. One as a middle author and the other as a first author.
One is a total failure and the other one has been submitted to a journal and is still in the process of reviewing.
2. To finish reading 10 books that I have bought for the past few months but didn't get to read it. I'm just not into reading nowadays.
Again, another failure! I have three books that I read halfway, then I caught up with work. After several rounds, I decided to just abandon the idea of me reading non-academic stuff right now. Urgh!
3. Saving money for a trip to a country outside of the US.
Not a complete failure. Not yet. Alhamdulillah so far, I have been saving money enough to pay the flight tickets for both me and Faliela. Daddy bayar sendiri lah ek :D
4. And of course, to be a good mommy for Baby F =)
I have to wait until Faliela starts talking before I know the answer, aite?
2011 has been a challenging year for me, both personal and work life. Nevertheless, I thank Allah for His blessing and the arrival of our joyful baby girl. Despite all the craziness with my life right now, I never regret the decision I've made so far.
For 2012 resolutions, I decided to put it as a short-term resolution and I will be dividing it into a 3-month project. For a start, I am naming this one as "The Winter Break Project". And here it is:
1: Creating a play area for Faliela
2: Baking project
3: Writing THE paper
4: Restarting my sales blog
I wanna elaborate each one of them but looks like I don't have enough time to do one now. So, let just reserve the explanations when I have some updates for ya! Eh tertinggal satu lagi.

We have been talking about having another baby sooner than what we have planned. But for sure, it is not this soon, like in 2012. Tapi kalau dah rezeki, terima ajelah (statement tak menahan)

and I strongly advise you not to sacrifice non-academic reading. Sometimes it seems impossible to have time/appetite to read anything other than academic-related works, but in doing so, we get entrapped. New ideas sometimes come from other disciplines, and reading Twilight makes you happy, no? hahahaha.
you ada anak nak jaga, so I was much more senang than you are now. Dulu I suka sangat pergi lunch kat Hometown, stop by the library on the way, pick up a book and read it during my lunch. Memang tak habit baca, but that's for next lunch ma.
now I try to do the same, but at Agri canteen (OMG~~~~), and surprisingly, it's been quite okay. Just got to avoid the many kicap stains on the tables :).

Hometown? Do you mean downtown? Your mind does sound blank. Hahaha. Anyway, most probably my lack of interest is due to the fact that I could not find any good books out there. I am such a fan of thriller books, the one that you can't stop reading until you know the ending of the story. It is so hard to find one after Sidney Sheldon passed away :( Plus, I like to read books in bed.And now I have a baby who sleeps in the same room who won't go to sleep unless the room is in total darkness. I'm giving myself a lot of excuses so it seem.
Oklah, oklah. For a start, will try to read while I go pumping milk. Then we'll see how it goes.

strongly recommend that you read books on cows while you are pumping milk...hahaha...
