Oya, my bestfriend since our school years in MRSM Taiping tied the knot with his long-time boyfriend, Rizal aka Karim. I was a bit 'terkilan' cos I could not make it to her wedding knowing the fact she helped my family a lot during both of my brothers' wedding, my engagement and wedding. Nevertheless, my mom and my brother's family were there and I'm hoping that would fill in my absence from the wedding. Nangis ;(

Pengantin kedua:

Ayu, is my colleague in UPM. Kitorang pernah tidur satu bantal 3 orang time buat praktikal kat Bandung sebab sejuk ya amat. Sekarang tak boleh peluk Ayu dah :( Anyway, glad that she is now officially married to Izzad aka Ejad. They were separated for 1.5 years when Ayu did her Masters in Netherlands. I'm sorry I could not send my mom to your place Ayu hahaha, kalau dekat2 majlis boleh la kot. Anyway, Ayu nih domestic goddess ok, sebelum kahwin dah boleh masak untuk open house. So, Ejad tak risau lapar dah kalau balik kerja nanti.

 Suka trail baju ko ayu :)

Congratulations!

Ok. Aku main aci tipu 2 hari lepas. Bukak facebook semata2 nak tengok gambar Hayah and her newborn son. Tapi dah deactivate balik.hehehe.

Anyway, knowing Hayah for 10 years, she is definitely a strong person. Despite being thousand of miles away from her family and a first-time parent, she and Leman, her husband were superb in taking care of their newborn son. Leman cuci poo anak die rileks je.  I'm impressed! A week after delivery, leh pergi beli groceries okeh!

Hayah, I'm pretty sure you will not read my post. But since I no longer have my Fb account, this is the only way I could convey my share of happiness. Congratulations Hayah and Leman!

P/S: To another strong woman out there, I admire you so much! Our time will come soon, insya-allah. You know who you are :)

Of my new ride and blazing red BFF

I had to take a picture of my new bike cos mom wanna take a look at her daughter's new ride, so I decided to make a special entry of my newest possession. I wanna buy a second-hand bike but big boss doesn't wanna 'pisang berbuah dua kali', so he persuaded me to buy a brand new bike. A brand new bicycle is not cheap especially if you wanna a good quality bike. I didn't know there are different type of bikes until I came here. Ada road bike, mountain bike, cruiser bike, hybrid bike etc. All I knew about bike before I came here was my BMX bike my parent bought me when I was six years old. Hahahaha. My previous bike which I had an accident was a mountain bike and this time hubby confided me to buy 'basikal yang tak laju' to make sure I can't merempit like I used to. Merempit sangat lah kan. Hahahaha...

At first, hubby wanted me to buy a cruiser bike (cos it has no gear) so kalau kayuh memang laju lagi kura-kura (I'm exaggerating).But after I explained to him, cruiser bike takde brek, so kalau turun bukit yang curam giler (again, I'm exaggerating) laju sangat takde brek camner? Jatuh gak kan? Hahahahaha. So, die bersetuju untuk beli bike jenis lain.

So, after going back and forth from Walmart to Target to Walmart again, finally I decided to go for a comfort bike in Target. Another type of bike in bicycle vocabulary! And here is my bike, the reason I chose the bike is because of the color (purple), bukan sebab die best. Anyway, this bike is slower than my mountain bike tapi aku redha je lah.

And moving to the next item. I had a bike accident 2-3 weeks ago and because of the impact, the laptop I was carrying in my backpack has a dent on the edge, sikit lagi je nak kena compartment for memory card. Dah lama I plan to buy a netbook because everyday I'll be carrying books,notes, laptop and lunch box to school naik basikal. Very damn heavy! But then, I didn't feel it was a need, lebih kepada kemahuan untuk ada netbook. Tapi lepas accident tuh, I was so mad seeing my laptop yang dibeli baru 2 tahun dengan duit titik peluh sendiri dah calar-balar, I decided to go for it. And I see it as a reward for myself for getting a perfect GPA this quarter. So, here it is:

My new BFF!

I decided to buy ACER cos my first laptop is an ACER and it is still running in great condition after 5 years! I don't wanna spend more for netbook considering that it has no CD/DVD drive and the maximum RAM it could go is 2 GB, so I bought the cheapest one in market. Kalau jatuh, taklah rasa ralat sangat.

So, kesimpulannya, if you think you have achieved a milestone in your career, reward yourself with something cos you know you won't regret it!


P/S: Yeay, lepas nih makan maggi lah hari2.

Happy New Year everyone!

By the way, I'm not a fan of New Year. It is just not my style to celebrate New Year. Anyway, 2009 was hell of a year.

2009 was the year where I had achieved the momentum in my study. 2009 was the year I started writing about my ups and downs in this blog. 2009 was the year where Jai finally got his working application through which releases our financial burden a lil bit. 2009 was the year where my bestfriend gets engaged to his 7 years boyfriend (7 ek Oya?) and I was not there to witness the ceremony.

Anyway, special congrats to you and PLEASE enjoy the wedding preparation ok?

And with that, I'm hoping 2010 will be a smooth-sailing journey with addition of a new family member. This time, it would not be an accident :) Insya-allah.

I'm touched!

In less than an hour, I will hit 27 years and 1 day. I must now face the reality that it's time to enter another chapter of my life.

Anyway,

I spent the whole day at home watching TV while my handphone never stopped ringing.

The same goes with Facebook, birthday wishes kept pouring in since yesterday :)

And last night, I went out for supper with my Ipoh's friends (Yumi,Syu,Keril,Fahmi and Aja) and they surprised me with a birthday cake!



Later today, Kumitaa, who just got back from Davis surprised me at my house. I told her I don't really like cake, so don't bother to buy me a cake so she brought me a slice of cake instead *giggle*


I'd like to thank all for remembering my birthday. As what I wrote in my previous post, my birthday would not be the same without my husband. Well, I was totally wrong.. You guys really made my day!

A year goes by and we're still surviving!

I had a wonderful evening yesterday....

We went to Red Lobster to mark the end of our first year as a graduate student. Trust me, being a grad student is tough! I'm glad that I already experienced the toughest time of all during my DVM years, so it actually helped me a lot. Plus, among four of us, I am the only grad student that did my undergrad in Malaysia, so getting used to the US system made everything much more difficult.

Nevertheless, they always give me motivation to strive harder. Love you all!







Me & Kumi. She's also from Ipoh and I always have lunch with her since our labs are nearby sambil cuci mata tgk vets yang kacak.. Not for me, but for her cos she's still single.. *wink*







I decided to get drunk for the first time............ with a Rootbeer

Happy Birthday Oya..

Walaupun tuan punya birthday tidak berapa excited menyambut harijadi tahun ini, aku tetap ingin mengucapkan happy birthday to OYA!!!!!

Tau tak birthday oya = birthday Sultan Perak... Therefore, kalo Oya kerja Ipoh, hari nih cuti lah untuk Oya... Tapi sebab oya kerja kat KL, so tak cuti.. Eh, ape plak.. hari nih kan Ahad... Sorry oya, merepek pulak..

Nevertheless, I think I know why you are not excited over your own birthday... Insya-allah, dalam tahun nih, maybe akan ada one step forward in your future... Who knows, things happen for a reason kan.....

Oya nih my bestie since MRSM Taiping.. Time die study UITM Shah Alam, tiap2 weekend lepak rumah dia sebab senang jumpa Jai... Buat muka tak malu kan cam rumah sendiri.. Well, I could say we've been together susah dan senang... And on that horrible day (check #13 on this post, here) if she came back an hour later, who knows where I am today.. (tempat sakit mental kot).. And if I didn't escape from the orientation day and slept over at her house, only god knows what would happened to her... I guess we OWE each other OUR life!!!

So, the pictures below described how she deserves to be my bestie EVER... gambar paling atas, tak berapa berkenaan sgt.. tapi nak letak jugak.. haha.. but she was there during my graduation, my wedding reception (tukang lap peluh yang berjaya), Jai's wedding reception (jauh sampai ke Kedah die sampai), my farewell kenduri and towards my departure moment in KLIA... Thank you Oya for everything!!!

Happy birthday Che Dah..

Aku tau ko jauh nun di Netherlands... Tapi aku tetap ingat kat kau Che Dah... Kawan seopis ku yang duk sebelah aku n meja nye selalu ade barang2 aku, sebab aku suka buat kerja berselerak.. Hahaha..

Aku tau lepas nih kita tak akan seopis dah.. Ko ade bilik sendiri, aku pun ade bilik sendiri (chewah,berangan dah ...tak menahan).. Tapi aku berharap bilik kita sebelah2 jer, senang aku menjenguk ko nanti...

Terima kasih bagi aku menumpang umah ko time aku tak berumah seketika dulu... Terima kasih selalu jadi lunchmate aku... Terima kasih gak teman aku mengelat kat Jalan TAR beli barang2 kawin aku... Banyak lagi yang boleh ku tulis, tapi kang kantoi kan diri sendiri seperti tolong p&*%h... Haha... Nanti ko nak kawin, inform mak ye nox... Boleh la aku hadiahkan ko beg Coach sebijik.... (purse boleh tak nyah?) Hehehe.... Anyway, Happy Birthday Che Dah!! Moga dipanjangkan umur, dimurahkan rezeki and tahun depan leh balik kahwin!!!!!
