Euro 2012 is kicking off tomorrow! Frankly speaking, this is my first time watching Euro. My favorite team during WC 2010, Germany has a team of great young players so I hope during this Euro, they will unleash their full potential and eventually winning the cup. Amin. This is one of the things I am looking forward to this summer. My last summer in the United States, insya-Allah.
It has been a while since I last talked about politics. Part of it because I was busy with motherhood to keep up with news back home but the truth is our current political scenario has been going down the hill for the past few years. Pathetic is the best word to describe.
It is just sad to see how one party abuse their power just to let their opponent knows how far they can drag one issue down. It is just sad to see how the rakyat suffer as a result of their immature action.
Khairy Jamaluddin and Rafizi Ramli took it to the stage to discuss on PTPTN. People who watched the debate evaluate and make their decision. Healthy politics.
The other leaders of both parties instead went to the media, giving out statement to challenge each other and end up in making the stupidest decision one can ever make at this point of time.
"Pelajar tidak perlu bayar balik pinjaman PTPTN"
"Pinjaman kepada pelajar baru UniSEL dibekukan buat sementara waktu"
"PTPTN akan disambung jika pihak berkenaan mengaku salah"
What kind of shitty politics are this? Yes, politics are dirty wherever you are. Dekat US pun lebih kurang sama. But this kind of politics in Malaysia dah tahap loji kumbahan.
If you want to withdraw giving out the loan, you obviously cannot make the decision overnight. It affects the life of thousand of people. The other party has the right to be informed about this and make a proper planning months ahead. As I said, it affects the life of thousand of students. Students who came from family who don't have thousands of dollar just to obtain a 4-digit number on a metal plate. Students who rely solely on that money to live for the rest of the semester.
And it is funny when you see one side of the party make this statement :
"Jelas kerajaan mereka tidak dapat memberi pendidikan percuma. Harap kemudahan pinjaman diberikan kembali kepada mereka."
Only one hour after he released that statement, the other party publicly announced:
"UniSel akan bekukan aset untuk bantu pelajar"
Sudah-sudahla wahai pemimpin bersandiwara. Get your ass to work and not bullying each other. We are sick watching all of you playing our life like we have no say in the country.
Firman Allah SWT maksudnya: "Dan orang-orang yang menyakiti orang-orang mukmin dan mukminah tanpa kesalahan yang mereka perbuat, maka sesungguhnya mereka telah memikul kebohongan dan dosa yang nyata". (al Ahzab 58)
Kalau tidak menang di dunia, insya-Allah menang di akhirat.

Bagi orang-orang yang berebut memimpin di dunia ini...adakah mereka sedar yang memimpin itu satu amanah..tanggungjawab yg perlu dipikul sebaik-baiknya..bukan setakat berkuasa di dunia dan mengecapi kuasa memimpin, harta benda..tahukah diaorang bahawa mereka adalah antara orang paling lama 'disoal siasat' oleh ALLAH SWT..tak takut kah mereka??..sempatkah bertaubat di atas kesilapan tingkah laku..kata-kata yang celupar.......takut oii..semua pemimpin kena ingat tu..pemimpin negara, pemimpin jabatan, pemimpin rumahtangga...etc.............itu semua AMANAH & TANGGUNGJAWAB DENGAN ALLAH SWT................HUHUHU...

Malaysian politics never fail to entertain, until it flops like a TV soap drama stretched 100 seasons beyond when it should have ended. The same show goes on though the first audience pun dah mati and now the 3rd generation is watching it,,,still the same show.
the govt is so scared, and the opposition so not steady. All trigger-happy.
Arguing over issues that...actually the rakyat already knows what's happening behind the scenes and even if we rakyat salah assume, nothing they say can change our assumption now anyway.
and everyday, ladies walk in fear of rape and robbery, parents worry of kidnap and abuse, children worry about racial abuse, teachers dropping in quality, etc etc. Any party that can pick up the reins and fiercely tackle any one of these issues will easily win the admiration and vote of the people.

Betul tuh. And kita yang mengundi nih pun akan disoal jugak di akhirat kenapa pilih pemimpin macam tuh. So, mengundi lah dengan bijak.

Haih, luckily I deactivated my FB already. I don't know how many times I was such in rage reading other people's comments. Like memang nampak kesalahan depan mata still nak pertahankan the pemimpin. Like they don't have sense of judgement at all.
Yeah, I think the police issue should be tackled first and also the immigration issues, I pun afraid nak balik with all the news about kidnapping, robbery and raping and the police do what? Escort the VIPs. Haih.
